Xavier Mairesse is a film director whose work brings together cinematic storytelling, performance, music and visual effects.
From the editing room
to the director’s chair.
Xavier began as an editor, then worked as an assistant director on feature films before directing commercials.
His films combine narrative, performance and a cinematic visual language. Music is part of that approach: a pianist and composer, he has also created soundtracks for his work.
The portfolio spans commercial films and documentary storytelling, including Please Arrest Me and Mobilizing the 12th Man.
